Welcome to RockaBye Rattery! We are a small hobby breeder in the Philadelphia, PA suburbs. Our goal is wonderful tempered, healthy, adorable fancy pet rats. Our rats are all members of the family and have known pedigrees going back many generations. Only rats with great temperaments and health are bred. We have a couple of lovely pairings planned for late spring & summer 2012. Please see under Planned Litters and let us know if you want to be on the wait list. We concentrate on Burmese and black-eyed Siamese dumbos, with an emphasis on the blue colors. |

All of our babies are lovingly socialized from day one. They are exposed to every day household happenings, people, and pets. We will only have a few litters per year but those litters we have will be for the future of the rattery and its goals.
Our aim is for lovely sweet family pets. Health is of equal importance. Perfect markings, colors, and conformation will continually be refined and selected for, but are secondary to temperament and health.
Most of our rats have very nice conformation, nice dumbo ears, large eyes, and nice broad & tapered tails. Males have handsome broad heads, and the females have nice-sized racy heads. There is room for improvement of course, and these considerations, along with moving towards selfs in the marked lines, will be selected for with each litter.
We do not cull or breed feeders.
We are NARR registered.
